Have you ever thought about being an entrepreneur? Do you feel exhausted about your 9 to 5 routine? Here are some facts about entrepreneurship and 9 to 5 job.
Most of people prefer working from 9 to 5 for 40 years, instead of working for 100 hours weekly for 8 years to feel safe and stability. It sounds like a real problem today, but until you change your mindset, nothing will change. Also a huge amount of people do not understand that world will never be the same. Automation and technology are already putting entire industries out of work, and there is no sign of that trend stopping. Simple, repetitive jobs are on the way out, and there is even talk of cab drivers, delivery drives and pilots being put out of work by automation as well. So thinking about stability in the short-term and being unemployment in the long-term is not a good idea nowadays.
Not following your dreams will kill you
Building your own dreams is a way to success. Not following your dreams will kill you one day. Don’t be just another part of the machine. It doesn’t mean that working for somebody is not a good idea. You can be a part of big company and in the same time you can approach to your goals by working on them everyday. It is all about time management. If you’re meant to be an entrepreneur, then you’ll have a deep desire to break free and build your own machine – just do it, there are no limits. Farrah Gray said: “Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs.”
Your progress is capped
Building your own venture gives you no limitations in terms of money you can make and how much freedom you will get. You might be the best in your company. So, how much extra can they pay you? An extra $10,000 a year? An extra $20,000? You can be rewarded, but there’s always a cap. Nobody says that 9 to 5 routine is an evil. It’s just the way things are. But if you are looking for a constant challenge, for something that is aligned exactly with who you are as a person, then a traditional 9 to 5 will destroy your entrepreneurial spirit. So think about it and listen to your heart, not your friends or parents, because nobody knows you better than yourself.
